St. Columban-Irish Irish Extravaganza Fundraising Event

 

The Descendants of St. Columban, Quebec, held an evening of Irish music, song, story telling and dance.

Thanks to all that supported the event.

 This is our biggest fundraising event!
Our goal is to restore the broken headstones in the St. Columban Cemetery.

TÜNA - Celtic Music & SongAlthough dedicated to early Irish settlers that arrived in Lower Canada in the 1820’s, and then settled in the village of St. Columban, this event will also celebrate all immigrants that, for centuries have left their homes and families, to settle in our great country of Canada

BERNADETTE SHORT’S - Irish DancersThe evening - A tribute to the Irish of St. Columban, featured Celtic music by the band "Tuna", dancers from the Bernadette Short school of dance and narrators,
Peter Gossage and Michael Kenneally.
