Natural Death Is Verdict
(Special to The Gazette.)

Lachute, January 7.- A verdict of death from natural causes was reached today in the case of John Patrick Carroll, 41, well-know local blacksmith, whose body was found last evening lying on the sidewalk on the outskirts of Lachute by William James. At an inquest held under Coroner Dr. J. H. mason, it was stated that Carroll had been nervous for some time. Evidence of Dr McMartin, who examined the body, showed no indication of violence. The deceased was a native of St. Colombin. P.Q.
