Also,  you might want to check the early records for St. Johns, Kilkenny.

Our St. Columban Purcells came from Kilkenny in 1826 according to the Priests records.  I think I may have some other Blanchfield records if you want to send me your e mail address.  If you come across anything that relates to the Purcell / Walsh - I would be interested.

Someday, I would like to try and cross reference some of the information from Kilkenny and try and put a family history together for the Settlers of St. Columban.  Perhaps we could all work on it together as a group since many of the families married early on and everyone on the list is researching one or more ancestors from St. Columban and we really do have a lot of BMD's and other information on the St. Columban Site.
