I believe my 2nd great grandmother was Mary Dwyer - sister of Michael and daughter of John Dwyer (1794-1860) and Bridget Colleton Dwyer (1800 - 1870). Mary Dwyer married Keyron Walsh (1815-1874) whose headstone was gratefully restored in the St. Columban cemetery.
Mary & Keyron’s Daughter Ann married my great grand-father Calixte Scheffer, son of Francois - grandson of Pierre and I believe great grandson of Andreas Scheffer. Ann and Calixte also moved to Chicago around 1883.
I also have gathered quite a bit of information on the Scheffer’s but less on the Dwyer and Walsh families. Happy to share with you.
